I am a visual artist and cinematographer living in the countryside near Casablanca, where I grow some organic food.
Through visual art I explore our relationship to nature. Passionate about the living, organic themes are recurrent in my work.
My drawings are about life, openness and freedom.
My cinema studies in image specialty allowed me to understand the technique behind serving a purpose in a visual way and to tell stories.
As for many, drawing was born in me when I was a child while wanting to see and understand things.
While I use various techniques, I don’t prioritize one over the other. Each technique complements the next, with the goal being the image, a place to live in for a while, full of openings and paths waiting to be explored. There is no hierarchy between the tools I use to create emotion. I work with both paper and digital mediums, which converge towards a single point, forming a dimension to be experienced. In my process, there is no contempt for either tool; they complement and coexist. My drawings start on paper, travel through a computer, and return to paper, dimensions assembled in harmony.
I have worked as a colorist for graphic novels, created covers for music albums and movies, and I am open to collaborations in various creative fields. I am available for work as an illustrator, colorist, 3D artist, or concept artist, as well as for cinema-related image jobs and editing.
